Cant keep a secret from me!

So basically my hubby is crap at planning surprises for me. On the plus now i know hes taking me to Paris for my 24th and his 32nd…Childless whoop whoop. Only a few more weeks. Excited times!

Buy one get one for £1 at Smithies

So WHSmith was doing this offer and i needed to get some books for my son anyway as i had promised, i grabbed these two:

I am hoping that A Game of Thrones is as good as the TV series as they are pretty awsome.

I was lazy with the first book in this trilogy, Divergeni listened to the audio book, however this benefited me as i was able to do other things and also sketch as my hands and eyes were not occupied by a book. With insurgent, i had to purchase the book because the girl reading divergence annoyed me to say the least.
I also have Noughts and Crosselined up.

Remaking myself

So maybe i should do myself up. You know. Bit of make up, bit of a sophistication. Maybe i'll be noticed more by the fiancée. A new image. A new style. A new way of life maybe. Not sure where to start however. And what do i do with the stiff i already have. Giving them away is not an option as i'm too attached. Ha! This is going to be tricky!

My Life!

Motherhood claimed me at 20, three years on i’m blogging about the ins and outs of parenthood (single for the hardest part). From first dates, to child-minding, to stretch marks, to wanting to go clubbing with your mates till 3 am but the babysitter can only work till 12 midnight , *sigh*.

Sharing inside thoughts, ideas, fun places to visit, pregnancy, motherhood facts, serious matters and also funny and joyous moments that makes parenthood so worth while! Student life (or lack of) to Graduation and post grad jobs YAY!

The bond between Art and I

I have always loved art; from GCSE to A level. Since having my son three and a half years ago I have never really had a chance to just sit and appreciate art. I haven't drawn anything in such a long time until recently. Maybe two weeks ago when I got bored of writing an essay on environmental criminology. I shut my laptop and opened up a blank sketch book that I had actually purchased last October in Romania, hoping that I'd get a chance to draw something whilst visiting. I opened to book and got straight to work, and since then I haven't been able to put the book down. I have invested in a new and bigger sketch book which I am aiming to fill by the summer and hopefully purchase a new one by then so that I can take it with me on my summer travels. I should mention that I love to sketch portraits but occasionally animals, landscapes and inanimate objects catch my eye and I am bound capturing them. I also love to take pictures. When ever I can, I am constantly taking photographs of people and unusual compositions. My favourite medium is a plain old Biro pen. I have started to use pencils more. For landscapes etc. I love to use water colours, oil pastels and chalks.
